Amazing racing this weekend at the BIKC regional finals in Cardiff, Harvey B came through the tough side of the draw, with the 4 fastest lap times in qualification coming from his group. He managed P2, setting up some great battles for the first two rounds of qualification.

P2 Semi’s to P1 for the Final

After the heats, Harvey had qualified P2 for the semi-finals, making it a Team Sport Farnbough P1 and P2. The semi-final got off to a slow start, with 2 aborted rolling starts, but when racing got underway, Harvey was sharp to it getting better positioning of his kart into the first bend after the up ramp to take the lead. From there, he set a new PB and the fastest time of the day to grab poll position for the final.

Regional BIKC Cadet Champion!!

The final was a hard-fought event, Harvey took the first lap well and started to pull away, with a serious battle going on behind him. The driver in 3rd (who had been bumping all day long) eventually got a time penalty, demoting them to P4, ensuring a double podium for the Farnborough racers! Great event! and nice to see the Pit Board app being used by the new BIKC Regional Cadet Champion!
